On Having The Space To Dream (The benefits of slowing down - #3)

The more I chose to see this season as an invitation to slow down, the more I discover the rich benefits, the new possibilities, the creative opportunities which I would otherwise have missed. And the more I notice my brain firing up in innovative, connective, generative ways which it doesn’t often get to do.

In this season of slowing down, I have had space to imagine what could be. I have had space to dream.

If you had asked me ten years ago about the benefits of slowing my life down I would have probably either a) looked at you as if you had just asked me about the benefit of eating a raw onion (who would EVER do a thing like that…), or b) uttered some comment along the lines of ‘I can sleep when I’m dead’.

But here I am sharing, from my own first-hand experience, the benefits of not rushing around as much as possible and being as busy as humanly possible…
